Welcome to the Chasbank Kennels web site. We have been involved with showing a breeding pedigree dogs for over 25 years. Our first love affair was with Old English Sheepdogs and now with Whippets, and we also own and show an Afghan Hound, three breeds that get on really well together.

Jackie was involved with show dogs from a very early age, showing Shetland Sheepdogs, French Poodles and Afghans Hounds with her parents under the Huntington Prefix.

We started showing Old English Sheepdogs in 1975; our first OES was Aust.Ch. Movama Blue Charlie. We owned/bred the following five Old English Sheepdogs, Aust. Ch. Movama Silver Oscar, Aust. Ch Tuvalu Tempest, Aust. Ch. Chasbank Grizabella and Chasbank Bustapher Jones. Although Chasbank Bustapher Jones was never shown, due to an accident shortly after birth, he sired 6 Champions and two of them went on to be Best in Show winners.

We became involved with Whippets in 1995 when we brought our first Whippet Aust. Grand Champion Shalfian Wednesday Sally. The puppies we have bred have been successful in the both the show ring and agility ring. Chasbank Whippets have been awarded Best in Shows, Runner up Best in Shows, Best in Groups, Runner up Best in Groups, Classes in Show and Group and are successful winners at BOB level. We enjoy hearing from our family companion puppy buyers and encourage everyone to keep in touch and send photos to us.

We would like to thank Anne Hickey for all her support and help with our dogs, Anne handles many of our dogs at shows and we thank you for all that you have done for us.

We endeavor to breed for quality, type and strive for excellence. We do have puppies for sale from time to time and our male dogs are standing at stud to selected bitches.
